It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted anything on my blog. I’m going back to school part time for Computer Science (my original degree is in music) and still working full time, so unfortunately I haven’t had nearly as much time for projects as I did a few years ago.
I saw this project to make a DIY version of the old Atari Pong game with an arduino from my favorite website, instructables.com, and decided I better dust off my soldering iron and get cracking! Special thanks to Patrick McCabe for making this instructable! You can check out his instructable here!
The project I’m making will (hopefully) end up turning into either a late birthday gift or father’s day gift for my Dad. He always talks about back when he was growing up he’d play pong for hours with his brother. I’m hoping maybe this can turn into a fun nostalgia gift for him!
I’m currently ordering all of the components from adafruit and sparkfun, hoping to actually start putting this together over the next week.
That’s all for now, I’ll have more posts about making this project once I get started!
